Would you or wouldnt you? (fleet car, dpf filter etc).

Long story short, im looking at a 2.0d V50 2008 which is on 71k miles.
At 72k miles, they need an expensive service which either involves topping up fluid in the DPF or the replacement of it fully.
Speaking to the dealer, he was good enough (without even asking i may add) to e-mail me the service book, v5, mot and whole maintanence printout.
The car was a Lloyds TSB auto lease car, and from a mechanical point of view, seems well looked after. Had a new windscreen due to stone crack at 20k, and everything else has just been routine brakes, wipers, bulbs and tyres. These are the only things shown on the TSB report, with the exception of the odd recall, one for carpets and one for handbrake.
I asked the dealer about the service, he said he would service it (not a main dealer btw) before it gets sold, but im not convinced it will have the full DPF job done on it. So how much of an issue is this for a car of this age and mileage. Ive heard stories of these cars doing 120k+ with no issues, even more so on the high-milers. So far it has been serviced on the dot, by the same Volvo dealer (to be expected i guess with a lease vehicle).
I also heard somewhere, that if the fluid is topped up on an earlier service, it doesnt need replacing/doing again at 72k. Would this be done automatically on a full volvo history car?
Secondly whats the opinion on ex lease vehicles? Good, bad, or ugly?
Sorry if this all sounds a bit of a mess, the car looks lovely, perfect colour and everything, just sometimes feels 'too' good i guess.
