The July five day road trip is coming together with a Tuesday morning Dover-Dunkirk ferry and Tuesday night hotel booked in Reims.
I need to get to the 'Ring for the Thursday evening session, so am looking at staying somewhere between Reims and Nurburg on the Wednesday night.
Luxemburg is right in between but I know little about this area - can anyone recommend anywhere there to stay and sights to see?
Or should it be avoided and I should be looking to stop off somewhere else entirely?
I know the petrol is cheap, but that's about it.

Fags cheap, tobacco cheap, booze cheap, petrol& diesel ultra cheap.
I pop in everytime I am nearby to stock up with
a few crates of cultural supplies.
There are a few pretty towns along the Moselle, on the
east side.
Recommended.

Looks a nice place, definitely a maybe - thanks G Man.Will also take a look at the Moselle area too - appreciated dcb.
With all the cheap contraband I might have to take a transit rather than the Eunos...

Luxemburg is rather nice actually. Very pretty city and cheap booze and fuel.
