I just saw my first SLS!

I drive a lot. Like 75k a year a lot.

I saw my first SLS AMG (on the road) today at Gatwick. Dark blue (not the best colourIMO) on an 2011 plate.

Driver comes out - i knew it was his as he was wearing a shirt with white cuffs - and as he walked past me I said "Nice car mate" he didn't make eye contact but did say thanks.
It may be because I was following him while rubbing my legs and making a grunting noise and thrusting my hips in the direction of his car. Might be.

My local dealer has a white one in the showroom, alongside a stunning G Wagon, what a nice choice of take-home demos for the dealer principal!

I have seen the same one twice around Gloucester! It looks like a matt white colour (possibly a wrap) and is on arabic plates. Looked lovely and sounded awesome!

I saw one near Ragdale Hall, just off the A46, last week. First I've seen on the road.

MB of Lincoln have a red one in the showroom, whilst there is another in MB of Boston (sat next to a 300SL!)

Do most MB dealers just share them but aren't actually AMG dealers?

Just saw a grey one on the southbound A11 at Cambridge being followed by an Exige.

A friend and I picked up our SLS's at MB World the other day . First impressions are what a typical fantastic , Merc . Cant wait to run it in
So different in feel and look to the usual mid engine suspects . Great , great cars with a most fantastic Spitfire ( Messerschmidt ? ) sound .

It would be. My first car was a Renault 6, like the 4 but a bigger body and had the same push/twist/pull gear change.
