Tunisia - likely Djerba

I need to get away for a couple of weeks in July, and looking at the prices they seem to be buying tourists at the moment, which is attractive.

Mrs BFB, OTOH, is convinced it's a country in disarray - rivers of sewage, public disorder etc.

Anyone been since the troubles - I'm convinced Djerba was pretty much insulated from it, but would appreciate any first hand experience.
