My current car - DC5 Integra Type R, as purchased so far with cat-back exhaust, Mugen aurbox and some fixed buckets. Still not had a chance to get some decent pics so these are from it's ad.

Previous cars -
290bhp Astra VXR

206 HDI

Not planning on it to be honest I like the standard DC5 wheels a lot. Could do with a refurb though, they've been touched up in the past but have a few chips on the spokes. The VXR and the Civic both had those wheels on when I bought them, the wheels on the VXR were a big reason why I liked that one so much.

What is the Integra like in comparison to the Astra?

In a straight line it would get destroyed purely because of the power the Astra was running. Standard v Standard there would be nothing in them, the Integra might even be a bit quicker. On a twisty b-road the Astra could have all the power it wants it still won't keep up with the Integra, it handles really well. And the LSD makes more of a difference than I could ever have thought it would do.

The Integra's harder, louder inside, has the odd rattle, isn't built anywhere near aswell. And I don't care one bit. It's soooooo much more fun to drive, anywhere. And as bonus it's good on fuel aswell. Mixed driving the Integra's getting around about 300miles to £70 of Super Unleaded and that's mixed driving. On the motorway it's more like 350miles, round town realistically more like 270mile. As a nice bonus though, it gets quite a lot of people looking at it, especially on the road. Servicing wise the Astra is cheaper but Vauxhall are cheaper than Honda. Servicing on the Integra is the same as an EP3 anyway so it's still far from expensive. The only true expense difference between the 2 is insurance, I'm paying £300 on the Integra!

After I sold the Civic and had the Astra, I missed the Civic pretty much straight away, even on the way to go and pick the Astra up I was considering turning round and going home. Going from the Astra to the Integra I've yet to have one moment where I really miss it. The extra 70bhp would be nice at times, but only if there's an evo 2 inches off my rear bumper and that's only happenend once.

Likey, although VXR looks great too.
Think white paint suits it nicely!

I don't like the Civic or 206 if I'm honest but, that Astra VXR and Integra look ace! I think the alloys on the Astra suit the car really good and 290hp sounds a lot of fun.

The 206 was my 3rd car,got to be 5-6 years since I had that, not a bad car for a 19-20year old at the time. The Civic was my 21st birthday present to myself. Front numberplate was more of a trial fitment to see what it would look like before I had the number plate recess flushed with the bumper, just never got round to doing it....

290bhp was just enough to annoy a couple of new RS Focuses (or is it Foci?). And 358lb/ft made overtaking one of the funniest things I've done behind the wheel.

Beautiful car but WTF are those seats? The standard Recaro's are more than supportive enough imo.

No idea, they were in it when I bought the car. But after trying these and standard Recaro's the standard's now feel really unsupportive. And the fixed seats are pretty comfortable aswell. Just need some harnesses.
