Hi All,

My armourfend (or paintshield) is looking a little tired on the near side of the car (a few tar marks which I can't remove and one yellow patch).

Has anyone had theirs replaced - when it comes off, does the paint underneath need a re-spray before the new stuff goes on?

Cheers

He's the top man (guam on here). I helped design the Griff fitment with Tom and the team about 6 years back. Cleaner will be significantly cheaper than replacement.

Armourfend does tend to strip the paint off when you take it off - or at least in my experience it does no matter how carefully you do it, so you may have to be prepared for a respray if you do remove it.

Never used paintshield, so can't comment on that biggrin
