Portable wheel alignment tool

Has anyone ever seen or used anything like this?

What do you guys think of some of the items on offer??

I've never used that sort of kit, and I'm unlikely to at those prices. The last time I set the tracking I used some very simple lengths of steel fixed to both front wheels and measuring between the front & rear of the length to set the wheels.

I've also used the famous string method which is a fiddle but quite accurate according to my local garage who checked it afterwards on their alignment rig. Lots of info on the web, but this page gives you an idea.
