Here's my take on this - and no effect on the existing seatbelt arrangement

Just one question. Is this modification something that would have to be notified to your insurance company?
Did look at geting some made in stainless steel but decided not - I was concerned that should there be a manufacturing fault and if someone was injured in an accident I could be held to blame. Even if not legally liable I would feel morally responsible.I think that if you dont tell the insurance company you are making yourself very vunerable to horrendous potential claims.
My advice is dont fit them.
Use barkychocs method will work and no potential problems
The one shown on tvrsseries looks perfectly fine to me. I don't think it will put any more load on the mounting bobbins (probably less, if anything) and the bracket shown looks like it will take way more force than you would survive coming through the seat belt. I'd be quite happy to be in a car with that fitted. But I think your average insurance broker might be concerned about safety-critical bits being replaced by home-made parts and would perhaps not understand the design well enough to accept that it's safe.
If you change it and don't tell them, does it matter? That's your call, but in my view the answer is a very definite yes. Tell them everything that could conceivably be relevant. If it's something likely to concern them, that's even more reason to tell them.

Just sent details of the mounting bolt modification to my insurers; got a call back within 5 minutes..... all ok, no extra charge, note added to my file saying approved modification.
The fix from Barkychoc looks good too but I'd be worried about friction if the guide only just fits the width of the belt.

Good show

Shown the drawing to my local friendly engineering shop and they're going to make me a pair when time allows. Said they won't be "steel ST60", thats some kind of European grade, but "trust me, you'll pull the seatbelt out of the floor before you break the ones we'll make you"
