Outriggers shot.
Discussion
Had mine done recently by the guys at X-Works and they did a great job for £1350 plus VAT of course. I had extra work done that was sensible at the same time (fuel pipes, wishbones painted up, hotstart kit, 6K service, fit back splitter thing, etc etc. Total was less than some charge just for outriggers. Very pleased with the finished job.

ive been in contact with a garage in the Sunderland area that has been recommended and he reckons its a simple job of cutting the old ones out and replacing with new outriggers? not to sure tho.
Yes it is, but you can't do it with the body on, unless you like the smell of burning fibreglass!Something I've not seen mentioned on here is whether you can buy the parts to DIY outrigger repairs? I'm handy with a MIG (just doing some inner wing repairs on my RS at the moment) and while I'd prefer to find a car that doesn't need to much (if any) work doing, if it was just the outriggers then it might be a cost effective way for me to get a decent car. Or being realistic, perhaps it's something that'll need doing eventually anyway...
