Anybody see the convoy of around 10 range rovers/Landrovers in Aberdeen tonight ? I'm guessing that it was that American d**k coming back from his golf course

Trump and his golf course.
The unimaginable in pursuit of the unthinkable.

Does anybody by change know when he is leaving Aberdeen, wouldn't mind actually seeing him board his plane ?

Dunno about the prevailing wind on PH, but if he wants to build a golf course on the windswept dunes at Balmedie, then crack on. If it's a veiled excuse to build yet more houses, then perhaps not.

Whatever it might be, the focus on our part of the world can't be but helpful

I agree, if he wants to spend money here and if it's going to help our economy then I'd support him.

He made all his money in property development, I think that says a lot.

Property...as in casinos!

Fair play to him I say. My mates son is flying Trump and his buddies round Balmedie this morning in a super puma. Couldn't have picked a nicer day for it!

The area needs it, wish people would see that and let him get on with it!

I have no love for Trumpie but if he's got buckets and buckets of capital to invest, and is minded to sink it into a windswept dreich Aberdeenshire site then good luck to him

I heard today that a so-called "Bank" is paying bonuses to certain of its employees to deliberately lose solvent longstanding clients to "improve" the Bank's balance sheet.

Also if you mention funding for property development to one of their "Managers" they push pencils up their nostrils and say "wibble wibble"

If this is meant to stimulate business then the Lord help us ........bring it on Trumpie

He's a big head with a massive ego (to put it mildly!) & a golf nut with Scottish ancestry. This along with Scotland being the home of Golf = his need to build the worlds best Course on what he has been told is the best duned ground. It's all about the Course, the housing allows the funding for it & the hotel/s (+ Lodges/Appartments) a must at that level.

I'm for it apart from the trying to bully locals into selling but he needs to know you can't buy history.......
