My engine starts perfect from cold but once the engine is hot it will not start .I have noticed the problem when i try to start it after a few minutes..The only way it`s starts is by putting my foot to the floor for 5 to 6 seconds..The engine spins but it just does not want to kick up in tne normal manor. When i had it setup by the guy who fitted the Megasquirt he set the adjustable regulater to 34psi and when i asked the question he said "it made more power with the regulator set at 34psi"..Im wondering if this is the problem. When i say hot (normal operating temp.)

Flooring it is probably activating the anti-flood feature in the ECU, so you are probably delivering far too much fuel during cranking when warm...

Whether that is your base fuel too high & too little relative cold enrichment or base fuel ok & cold enrichment adding extra because its not set up right at higher temp is up to you to investigate as possible reasons...

From cold it does not hold idle, sticks around 1400rpm for a few seconds then dies,it does not bother me to much because second attempt works fine. What does bother me is when i stop for fuel or anything which involves starting the car when hot, it will not start unless i hold the pedal to the floor ..Then it revs up and look a idiot..something is wrong but nothing seriuos..

As above Daz on the megasquirt you can see the cranking ms's. At the temperature see which cell you are in when its hot and take a bit off.
