Red Bull dropping NASCAR team

Fair enough, they haven't been as successful as they have with the F1 operation, but the US is a huge market and NASCAR is one of the biggest ways to advertise through sponsorship etc. Wouldn't it have made more sense to ditch Toyota and try and shift to Chevy seeing as they seem to be winning a lot?

or just sponsor the US GP which they are likley to look much better at?

There was a report on an american site that said Red Bull were pulling out because the demographic of the championship didnt fit in with the demograpgic of the brand. (18-34). However id guess it is money and a lack of success, the amount of money Red Bull must spend is crazy, 2 F1 teams, junior programs, Nascar, 4-5 Football teams, Red Bull air race, Hangar 7, a hockey team, Red Bull crashed ice plus many other extreme sporting events.

But fortunes can go up and down. Look at Jordan- Midland - Spyker - Force India.
