Small car choice?

I will ampologise in advance for my what car thread
Mother in Law is looking for a new car and has it down to a choice betweem the DS3 VTi DSport, Audi A1 1.4 TFSi Sport or a Mito 1.4 TB Multiair. I have also suggested a Fiat 500 Abarth which she really likes but thinks it may be too small.
She needs a car for country lanes and running in and out of town. It doesnt really need to be that quick but needs to drive nicely and have a bit of style.
Mini has been discounted for being, well a Mini and she doesnt like the look of the warmed ober Clios.
Any experience of these cars or any possible alternatives? It needs 4 seats (2+2 is fine) and room for a Labrador on short journeys.

if you want something that has all the prestige go for the Audi, out of the lot it'll probably withstand depreciation the most, the Mito is based on a Fiat I believe. In my opinion it would come down to the 500 or the DS3. I see few DS3's so if you want to stand out or have something a little more intersting that would be my choice, Citroen have come a long way from the more cheapy plasticy cars of the 1990's into a very smart/sleek looking car.That or the 500 which from what I have heard is a great little car. Small cars wise though.
I think the Alfa looks interesting almost good from some angles. Same with the Fiat 500, they do make you smile when you drive one.
Also quite like the looks of the Toyota iQ although the Aygo seems to have a good reputation.
The new Kia Picanto looks quite nice too and has a 7 year warranty. Oddly Kia residuals seem to be fairly good too, so might be worth a look.
Out of those I would go for A1, or DS3.
DS3 - Looks great and is cheaper than A1, A1 has better interior though.
A1 - Looks good but I prefer DS3, nicer interior , better re-sale values. Has the Audi 'badge'
Have you considered the Skoda Fabia VRS. Looks great in green and would be quite fun down a country lane. Plus the ease of a DSG box for around town. That's the one I would go for.
I don't know if your Mother-In-Law is worried about the badge or not but the Skoda is the best bet.
All opinions are in IMO, your mother in law may not agree with me...
