My Cousin is on her way over from Holland and has some frikandellen and Kroket for me to consume.yum Now where did I put that mustard cloud9

Frikandellen! I love those, we lived in Germany when I was growing up and frequently nipped over to Holland for shopping, and also visiting a theme park over there (Slagharen)... we'd often have frikandellen. They even sold them in vending machines!

(Not to be confused with frikadelle, which are German burger type things, also very tasty!)

Kroket spread on that hard white bread with really strong mustard is amazing!

Much obliged, I was wondering why the OP was getting excited when the shelves of every Lidl and Aldi in the land are stocked with Frikadelle.

I have a Dutch mate living here she keeps cooking me proper meatballs and some chicken dish don't know what it is but really nice food smile
