what rear tyres for a nissan 350z?

as per the title.

Has anyone owned a 350z if so what would you recommend?

Or do you own something similar if so what tyres do you have?

I am asking as i friend has purchased a 350z and although the rear tyres are nearly new they are rubbish(he knew this when purchasing the car).

Something that isn't a hard compound budget tyre.

Expensive doesn't mean it'll be good either. Have a look about and see what sort of money they'd be happy to pay. Do you know what tyres are on it at the mo?

Not my experience but a good friend of mine who I do track days with has had 2 350z's (owners club etc) and rates the Falken (452 I think)

Falkens are the best compromise in terms of grip, price and durability for the 350z. The bridgestones are very good in the dry but need to be worked hard to get them warmed up....the price is much higher too.

I believe the Falken 452s and the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas are the tyres of choice for the zed.

im pretty sure a hard compound budget tyre is what he has.

Cost aint too much of a problem within reason i.e if they cost more but last longer then thats ideal.

Tyres are terrible in the wet at the moment.

If cost isn't an issue then 4 new semi slicks would transform the car.
