Beer Mountains 2011

I have been attending Le Mans for the last 9 years and over the years we have built some impressive beer mountains, but over the last couple of years we have built beer monuments. Tower Bridge , Big Ben and this years was a one in 10 scale Nelsons column. Anybody been sad enough to build anything else ????

I have just read the beer bottle ban on campsite thread, we shipped in 47 cases of beer and the only time we got stopped with bottles was walking into the circuit from karting nord so we drank up; and put the rest of bottles in cool bag and chair bags and walked in. Le Mans would not be the same without the beer if this came in i think there would be a mass migration to sebring turn 10. Just a shame the race is too short.

That would be the whole team note only 8 drinkers that would be me far left in the hat. I will try and find some pictures of last years efforts

Can't take credit for this one, but thought it was a damn good effort from our neighbours... and no glue used! (it came crashing down moments after this picture was taken)

Love the one at TR that is top draw. I did not see the Beer Disposal Teams one this year as that is usually lengendary ( At Houx ) did look for them but could not see it. It would be a crime to ban beer bottles at Le Mans its part of the culture.

The best topping out i have ever seen, was the Super Heros 2009 on Karting Nord standing on top of an Audi roof to get the height to top out.

Haha - Yes - I was Batman back in 2009.

We managed a beer mountain with 53 bottles along the bottom. We got quite a crowd together for that topping out ceremony! A great year!
