Fan Cars The Future?

I'm sure we've all heard something about cars with a fan slapped underneath to provide downforce, and currently they're banned from motorsports for safety reasons. However, I can not help but think how exciting it would be to see cars race around chicanes at 150+mph. The question is, how can we prevent injury? A shield around the stands would just ruin the feel of the race, yet without it, stones and other objects would be flung up at the crowd. Shields could be added to the bottom of the car but again... :/

I'd personally like to see some form of fan-car racing at some point, it seems impossible now, but modern F1 cars seemed impossible 50 years ago.

tl;dr, would you like to see fan car racing implemented into motorsports?

The problem is humans couldn't drive them due to the G Forces generated by the cars F1 drivers are under 4 G at the moment crank that up and they would pass out in a modern day fan car.

Yes, but surely more G-forces are generated in fighter jets and the like? Mind you, they don't have to endure it for so long.

They also have inflatable g-suits that sense G and then inflate around the legs to squeeze the blood upward to prevent black out.

It's a different kind of G-Force, racing drivers experience lateral G which causes problems with the neck. Having the driver in a cradle that "leans" into corners would probably work, if not, have the entire car tilt into the corners.

edit: When Vettle retires, he'll probably be driving a small electric car like this round Monza anyway, might as well get used to it now
