How would you do Glastonbury?
Discussion
I would love to spend a few days checking out the various acts, but I'm allergic to camping, mud, crowds and portable toilets shared with 180,000 people.
The only way I could handle it would be to be helicoptered in every day, wined and dined in comfort, and then flown out again to a suitable hotel with showers, comfy beds and a full english in the morning.
Does someone offer such a service?

I'm guessing that's £8k per person... if it was for a couple I might actually consider it, no way at 8k, there's silly and there's downright bonkers!
Just for bragging right, I've been to glasto 3 times and never been rained on! yay me!

Presumably at someone else's expense (preferably in an £8k tent) is the only way if your not 18 and have a prediliction for flag waving & wallowing in s
t.
Never been and don't really want to TBH. I'll settle for tolerating the Beeb, knocking up the volume a few notches and a few liveners.

Some of my friends have hired a tipi (sleeps 6 for £900) and taken their camper van to keep the gang's drinks safe (other useful items may have been packed too). They can be warm and dry, cook food and generally take a bit of a break, thus enjoying their "experience"
They've decided doing it the hard way is no longer appealing. Many others I know are gluttons for punishment of the highest order - but the love it!

They've already had the decency to round themselves up in a field.
