Electric Mirrors

Help!

My electric mirrors on my 95' Chimaera don't work. Any ideas?

I guess check the motor is getting 12v
If its not:
Check fuses
Check switch solder joints

Theres a relay in the drivers door, check for corrosion, mine was rotten.

Interesting - no relay on mine and mirrors working perfectly - mines a 99

Much more easy to do it by hand,dont know why they bothered with electric mirrors.

There is a difference in the type of controller for later cars (i think) 0f the 2 97 cars i looked at when buying mine they were different,i bought the older 97, the issue with mine was definately the relay, it was laying in the bottom of the door and got soaked, new relay and it all worked, relay 'clicks' when you operate the controller.
