Im now on my 3rd car in less than a year and past two days have spent hours on the classifieds so looks like its possibly 4 in a year coming up. I was hoping that maybe this car would be staying for a while but the new car itch is kicking in

First one lasted 3 months, then had a long termer at 6 months. This one is now been on drive 2 months and can see it being up on the classifieds shortly

I've managed around 45-50 cars in 7 years of driving.

Numerous reasons really, some where stters, others I just got bored of, but most of the time, just because I wanted to try something different. Some I've made money, others lost a fortune. Live and learn...

I'm a few weeks away from buying my first proper keeper car. The family car. Still not 100% but I'm thinking MG ZT-T CDTI. At least it's slightly PH. Wonder how long it will last...

My names screaming beagle and I'm a caraholic. Welcome to my world. 3 in last 6 months. All subarus and staying loyal to the brand is never an issue. Currently hooning around in a forester xt and it just might be for keeps as its a great all rounder and not new enough to have to worry about the odd scrape. My wife does not believe there is a cure for this condition.

Guilty as charged, 18 cars in about 10 years from £2K XJ6 to £47K 997, kept them all for short time, from 4 weeks (XJ6)to the most 17 months (Audi A4 Cab). Lost a fortune, as most where new, but hey, this isn't a rehearsal! Having said that latest acquisition is a keeper, otherwise I will be castrated by the Mrs!

My wife thinks Im a serial car buyer. Ive bought 5 cars in the last 12 months but havent sold one. Im cant bring myself to decide on which one goes.

Also guilty. Averaged more than one new (different) car a year for the last 20 years. Wife thinks I'm mad and without her I'm sure the numbers would have been much higher.

If I were in the uk I'd definitely be buying and selling SOTW type cars, just for fun. But here in Switzerland the equivalent of the MOT is really thorough so prices never fall as low as the UK, because the cars get scrapped (or more likely exported east where less rigorous standards apply).
