Current scrap values

So any pointers on how to get the best value for a scrap car (still has a few weeks ticket).

Have got an online quote of £155 for the car collected from home from cartakeback.com

It's a 96 astra auto estate, with a lot of problems.

eBay seems to be showing good value at the moment... at least it was at the weekend when I was looking

I would, but I don't have the space (it's my old mans car) he's 73 so just want rid in one go ideally.

eBay might be an option, I'm off to look at a car for him Saturday, so will see what they offer as part ex.

Cartakeback is probably the easiest way to make the most money from the car. If you're wanting more than £155 you'll have to either start breaking it or put effort into selling it (although if it was up for say £200 it wouldn't last long).

Cheers, was just making sure I hadn't missed anything obvious.

At least with the quote from them I can see what the garage would offer in part ex.
