HELP!- My Mazda MX5 2002 alarm is randomly going off,what can it be? I haven't got a key fob,only a key.Also audio system has flashing light in top left hand corner,could this be linked? I've only had the car a week.I know it has had a new battery fitted too,please advise,thanks...
New battery may have caused the alarm to need resetting or setting up in some respect. I take it that it's an aftermarket alarm? Should be easy to spot where they've fitted it. Trace the wires back and rip out the alarm until you find out what the issue is, if it's going off a lot.
