Hi Guys,

Has anyone had to replace one? One of the joints one mine (car has 44k miles) has play so failed it's MOT. I found one made by Lemforder from an online supplier, but don't know if it is an OEM unit, or the quality of it? The price 65% ish of genuine from a dealer. Can anyone recommend manufacturer/supplier for one?

Cheers

Lemforder are fine, and its an easy replacement. Tracking will need doing afterwards though.

If you don't want to buy one from BMW and BMMINIPARTS.COM are still too expensive...........

Lemforder are held in pretty high regard.

Cheers guys. 250 quid retail, 200 from bmwminiparts, 170 for a Lemforder one.

I am going find out how much it is after staff discount through a contact, so make my call from there. Any other bits which are worth replacing when I am doing the job? The car is reasonably low milage, and otherwise the suspension feels fine.

If it is a Genuine BMW part from Bmwminiparts, which large majority if not all his stuff usually is, then that option all day long, as all genuine BMW parts carry a 2 year warranty, the Lemforder will have only a 12 month warranty, for the £30 it is a no brainer IMO.

Cheers for that, and answers my question 100% thumbup

I'll go with either bmwminiparts or my BMW contact depending on the staff discount
