Self Employed Insurance Broker

Hi Pistonheads,

After working in the industry for a few years I've decided to turn self-employed selling Life Cover, Critical Illness, Whole of Life policies and Income Protection.

Just wondering whether anyone already does this or something similar and has any help or advice, lead costs are high at the moment so any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Isn't there a whole raft of accreditations and qualifications required for this type of activity these days?

(Which you may already have, of course).

Eric Mc, yes I do and there always seems to be more too ! Sarnie, I'm not sure really. Good leads sources, areas that are working for you etc
