Just applied "Dark" Blue Renovo - I'd call it blue - What do you think?

I've so far just done one coat on the centre section - Wife thinks I should try and wash if off.

Anyway, really not happy with the colour - the original was much classier so will be ordering a new roof next week.

Turned out to be an expensive quick fix!!

Why dont you use some on the bit that has the window from the same bottle?

Or, is that what you have already done?

Glad my eyes are still working, as those colours look very different....

Nosh.

I put one coat of dark blue and one coat of waterproofer on mine a few weeks ago but within a fortnight it was looking washed out.I am trying again and have put two coats of dark blue and two coats of waterproofer. It is still wet and looks very dark but I am not convinced it will look good for long on my 19 year old worn and faded roof.

To be fair it is darkening down now smile

As per previous post I'll give it another coat on the morning.

Have also discovered its very good for colouring Kitchen Floor tiles, Dish Washers, iPhones and skin biggrin

Hope my wife comes down in the morning and likes her Renovated kitchen whistle

Has anyone tried using the black renovo on a blue roof?

Im thinking of trying this but concerned if it will fade an odd colour (assuming it goes on evenly).

You're a brave man doing that in your wife's kitchen!

I think it looks good (very even), and I wouldn't have expected an exact colour match TBH. I assume you're planning to do the other bit as well?

Would be interested in seeing another picture after the second coat has fully dried.

Ok - hands up, I jumped to conclusions too quickly. You can ignore my initial comments.

It's actually come out the colour i was hoping. A nice dark blue.

For anyone going down this route, I strongly advise taking both roof sections off the car to get a good finish.
