**Real Top Speed of 500 Chim**
Discussion
I wondered what the most anyone has had out of there Chim 500 on the clock..I have had 125 on the clock, on the continent ofcourse
it was still pulling like a train however road conditions negated me from going faster. The wind noise at that speed was quite considerable and I assume above this would be much worse..

out of the chim with the top down...
and working from the rev counter once when the speedo packedup i've pulled just over 150mph
car felt fine, although a 3 lane mway did feel narrow at that speed and the trucks dont half come up quick !!!!

4ltr chim with nitrons and bigger brakes.

ouch. how much did that cost you?
it was about 4 years back on the way home from LM and i got away with 600ff it should have been loads more but i couldnt find my licence and passport ( had the entire boot emptied across the hard shoulder) eventually the guy got board and gave me the minimum fine as that needed less paperwork

and i wasn't really trying either.

managed a speedo indicated 160 on a downhill section of 'private' road a few months back, and 150 was a regular 'backing off' point
