Just uploaded a vid of the Aston V12 accelerating from Mulsanne corner. Gives me goose bumps. Will there be anything like that again in future years or is this the end of an era?

You've almost got the same shot of the Aston as myself, and also on Sunday morn, mine was a little nearer the corner. Sunday morning is always at Mulsanne, me and me two lads. Always take a coffee, croissant, and pain chocolate.

I remember thinking, as the Kronos AM came around, that it might be the last time I could capture that awesome sound. The thing seems to howl out of the corner, at the same point the other cars are building up revs.

Truly up there amongst the all time great LM sounds, it was quite fitting the Mazda also ran this year, what an aural treat.

It was a lovely place to be at that time. Also had a great French coffee and croissant there - the catering at Arnage and Mulsanne is so much better than the village.
