I just had to post a picture of the original. Local VW dealer used to have one sat there for ages. They only made like a few hundred if I remember correctly, I wonder why...

I used to see one of the original models driving round Newcastle from time to time. I always thought it was a one off creation of a madman!

It looks like somebody tried to build a Polo from panels they got from the scrappy. At least the Polo on the dealer forecourt looks like they made a proper job of it.

The OP knew the first one wasn't an official one, it was a joke. The Polo at the VW garage looks to be a proper one though.
