Bloody hell that shifts a bit and the handling
I have just re-discovered my love of driving. Driving home in my auto I kept reaching to change gear.
The feedback is fantastic and it just grips and grips. Spanking down some twisty lanes and looked at the speed, 60mph
it didn't feel like we were going that quick, but it just sucked me in.
If there is one slight niggle, when lifting my foot to go for the brake my knee hits the bottom of the steering wheel. Will maybe have to have a play with the seat or worst case senario get a spacer for the wheel.
Anyway if you have not driven one, I recommend you do.

Im 6 foot tall and have long legs. There is tons of adjustment in the seat but the steering wheel is mounted very low. ).sneaky schnell said:

I remember my first drive in one of them - it felt like you're connected directly to the car!
I'm 6'2 and it was a bit of effort getting in and out, but once inside and behind the wheel, it fitted like a glove.
Was truly surprised when I found it was a 1.8 with 118hp or something daft like that too - it felt a *lot* more powerful than that. Awesome cars and I'd have one in a heartbeat save for the fact my gymnastic abilities aren't as good as they could be, so I'd find it a bit hard to live with day to day!

(oh, and be prepared to lose the little plastic lugs on the soft top after a while, the roof's the same as the one on the VX).
ETA: Just seen it was Bell and Colvill, they're fantastic chaps - bought my old Subaru from them and I've got a few bits for the VX from their parts dept. If you see Russ then say hi from me!
