no oil pressure

Just had a few things done to my car ready for oulton on Tuesday and mechanic goes to pull car out of garage and no oil pressure. He thinks its the woodruf key, its something he hasnt done before so recomends taking it to Jason or Dom.Has anybody else had this happen and if so how much money was it to fix. Having just spent a few quid on decats new exhaust lightweight fly etc I could do with an idea. Im gutted and to top it all im going to miss oulton now. Oh well off to the pub

Has he connected the car to the laptop to check this because the oil pressure unit does have a tendency to pack in.

not sure but he has done a test with a gauge on a pipe at the top of the engine and no oil is getting to that. As you can tell I no very little about engines.

Yep I pretty much came to that myself. Spent last night in denial and this morning thinking if I get an engine would I get on track on Tuesday, wishful thinking I think. Are you going on Tuesday Grahem.
