Hi guys,

I'm looking for a new 50+ inch TV, I've seen the Panasonic VT20 and the Sony KDL55EX620 but I'm not really sure whether to get LCD or Plasma?

My primary use is gaming, secondary use is Netflix/HD TV.

Any other suggestions? I'm not sure what's good at the moment and what isn't, are Samsung still sheeite?

Well I was told that HUD/UI items can burn into Plasma screens, and the response time isn't as good?

This is as Futureshop in Canada though, so they are not particularly knowledgable...

I could be wrong but, at 50"+ I think you should be going for Plasma over LCD.

burn isn't really an issue these days, respone times ( ms ) are better on plasma then LCD

Does anyone know what the UK equivalant of this is:

http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/panasonic-p...

And is it any good or not?

Seems to be top of my list so far.

That is NOT a problem .. my old Pioneer MXE1(50) had an xbox connected to it and there was no hint of any burn in after many hours of use ..

I now have a Panny VT20 3D 50" ...

I think the VT20 is the one I was looking at in Futureshop! Model numbers are different across the pond though frown
