...still for sale, unbelievably

http://pistonheads.com/sales/2897023.htm

I am NOT fluffing for him, but Jamie Rogers (he of Castle renown) is so (frustratingly) laid back and modest that he "forgot" to mention it's his own car, so it's all been done...er.... properly to say the least !

I've seen it and driven it. Great condition. The mileage is for the car from new, not since he got his sticky fingers on it, so that shouldn't be the sticking point.

If I didn't already have one, I'd want it frown - very very similar outputs to the project i've got underway, but the lucky person who buys it will have achieved the same result for half the money mine will owe me

I'm sorry to say you might be right. I paid top money for mine on the basis that prices appeared to be rising steadily. Maybe all the real buyers did their deals in March/April/May (the weather helped) and it's all tailed off.

I still think your car is (too) cheap SVT.

Jamie's car looks "expensive" at only face value for the miles, but there's well over £15000 worth of mods., carried out by one of the very very best. My car will have cost me over £30k to get to the same result and that's without starting on the cosmetics. His is in much better condition than my 98S, 2owner, 28000 miler which is a rat compared to his

ETA Have to say, Ebay is worth a go as at least international buyers ignorant(not in the rude sense) of PH and the vagaries of the UK market get to see it.....

When I was thinking of selling my chim 4.3, I Ebayed it (Feb '09) and had what appeared to be genuine interest and offers up to £9k (i paid £8k in Sept. 08)but changed my mind about selling for a couple of months. In the end (couldn't be ar*ed with a private sale with infant twins and a building project) I sold it to David Gerald for barely less than I'd payed for it.

Reluctantly selling my chim after only having her for the last 2 months due to a property shortfall.. Best chim ive owned by far although we need to sell we are only selling to someone genuine and have turned down some ok offers, I know money is money at end of the day but deserves a good home she on flea bay with 93 watchers !!! lol and on here of course. Holding out for a good home and all the time we can still drive her. Market seems all over the place.. well suns out so a quick drive to goodwood in a while..

That does look like a very serious spec chim, but the yellow is a bit of love or hate colour. I definetly wouldn't even go look just because of the colour but 666SVT chim I would have been tempted to push my budget for, in the end I wasn't too bothered this time round what engine I got as long as the rest of the car was right I was planning on spending up to £8k but only ended up spending £6400 because I liked the car, at the time 666SVT wasn't forsalefrown
