Taxing a car

Can you tax a car with either a faxed insurance certificate or emailed insurance certificate?

Really does depend on how much of a jobsworth the prat at the post office is, I once went to tax my motorbike with the insurance document which I had to download off the internet as they were an internet only insurer. Got loadsa grief of the old bag who even said she would call the plod cause `my certificate looked fake, like I`d just downloaded it of the internet`!

Yes, you can. All Post Offices should now accept faxed/emailed ones. They didn't used to but they should now.
