Britain's New Supercar - the Keating ZKR

With all the recent excitement about the McLaren MP4 and Noble M600, let us not forget Wigan's own contribution to the supercar marque,the new ZKR from Keating Supercars which was launched at the Top Marques Show in Monaco in April.

I spy a Rover Metro steering wheel and poor panel fit. Front looks decent, but the back is terrible. Best of luck to them, but I suspect this won't sell well.

Seriously, at least they tried, but I fear they need to restyle the car massively to compete. Low volume + high price + no USP = big competition.

The front of the car is quite attractive, but from the a-pillar down to the rear, its just nasty IMO.

The lourves on the back window are very 1970's.

Who actually buys these type of cars?

Whatever happened to the Connaught's 2.0 V10-powered British car?

Not as far as I can see this is intended to be a rival for one of the more established supercar marques.


The Facebook site quotes the following:

Admittedly, it looks quite poor finished/executed in the pics. The actual shape is fine if a little generic, but the finishing touches do literally finish it.

Sorry but that looks like something that has been bolted to a Sierra chassis in next doors shed.Really does smack of poorly made kit car.

Impossible to tell what the difference is from the website.

The white paint, the fact that it is raised off the ground, and what appears to be an ill fitting door (or perhaps it wasn't shut properly) don't do the car any favours. However, there's nothing basically wrong with the shape though in my opinion.
