Splitters! Pub Club Meet!

So, it looks like the 'official pub club' for June is a non-starter. Leesa has suggested the Empress of Blandings as an alternative / only credible decision made so how about we start a list. I'll give them a phone to check its all ok but if I suggest gates open at 6pm then that gives everyone time to arrive early or late. Please add below:

Eh, hardly mate. It was only a couple of hours ago that the 'official' pub club came to fruition for june. Empress is fine with me, just wondered if the small number of Splitters had any other suggestions. Which are you attending then Matt? Sheep meet or outcast meet?Lol

Eddie, we are not sheep and you guys are not outcasts unless you wish to be of course. Had Gary posted the venue up a little earlier I'm sure it would of been ok. It's a chance to meet and chat and have a laugh, nothing serious. Maybe next month more your way xLol

Cor blimey chr55y. So serious and its only a monday. I think one or two of us feel a little put out by the fact that the meets are generally aimed at the eastern and central crowds (breakfast club doesnt count as thats normally a very small meet and its on a weekend). The meets are always very good, dont get me wrong but they can be a slog for us in the west. On top of that the whole thing goes quiet for weeks on end. We try to make alternative suggestions which many agree with (and the rest just stay silent) only to have our ears clipped a day before the meet for rocking the apple cart.
I know its sontonboys train set but there was no info at all for a good while and the feeling is that maybe some of us are not in has 'gang' and dont get the info til the last second. Yes he may have been busy, but if its his job to sort the meet then he needs to sort the meet.
Nuff said on that, lets all be friends and we'll meet again, dont know where, dont know when. But i know we'll meet again some sunny day............................
