Has anybody driven the standard (recent example) Tuscan, a Tuscan S and a Tamora??? I'm told that the Tamora beats them all hands down in terms of basic handling ie. it feels more reassured and you don't get that Jeremy Clarkson on the edge of control feeling. If so, it sounds a bit like my old Boxster S which was slower than my 4.0 model Tuscan and as common and as boring as hell but is the best handling car I've driven.....which seems to be the general gist of most of the Tamora reviews....on the other hand I've also been told that the S is a world apart from the basic Tuscan - feels much better planted or whatever the jargon is. Does anybody have a very strong opinion on the subject??

I have driven them all and plumped for the Tamora because of the handling. Tuscan S is fearsomely quick but not that much quicker than the Tamora/Tuscan. I can't see the point of paying an extra 10K for 40 bhp and a few winglets......

No offence to anyone who has bought an S, I couldn't see the point in the red-rose Tuscan either...???

I think the aerodynamics and weight coupled with the different steering is the difference between the Tuscan and the Tamora. It's splitting hairs though, you should buy the one you like best, they are both bloody quick!!!
