New blue pipes!

My, new to me, Cerb has been away for the Joolz treatment with some input from RP in Sheffield.

Blue 'whirlwind' pipes fitted along with adjustable Proteks all round, linked de-cat and the mandatory re-map. We're now at 372BHP up from around 320BHP but just short of the magic 400BHP. Apparently some later 4.5's (mines a 2003) produce less on re-mapping than some of the older 4.5's. My last 4.5 of 1998 origin had 398BHP after a re-map but 372BHP is fine for the road and the power delivery is much smoother/controllable now. It's like having a new car again!

It's the second time I have had these mods and would recommend them, particularly the re-map if you have a 4.5 for the driveability alone. There are several proven outfits that can do the work.

Now looking forward to setting up the Proteks and enjoying the sunshine

Phil i couldn't agree more had the Joolz treatment on my 2001 4,5 in February this year and it does drive like a dream very smooth power delivery enjoy !!!

Please i will be going to get the joo magic done to mine as well nice to see where the torque and so on comes in before and after. I know your car is a 4.5 and mine is a 4.2 but still that is a good gain from the off.

what was your figures at the wheels?
