Love the cortina, wouldn't be seen dead in the volvo though.

I just don't like the whole trying to hard to be 'scene' thing whether it's rat, dub, jap etc...

Cortina looks a lovely example and I've always had a soft spot for them, prefer the MkIV though.

TBH I could well see one owner having both of those.
Yes completely different in appearance but the owner knows he wants to be individual and not follow the crowd.
I could see Johnny whats-his-face from Fifth Gear owning cars like these.

Cortina is lovely and should be driven cautiously, and the Volvo is to burn about as sideways as possible and abit of car that you really don't give a fk about.

I remember arriving at the Vauxhall Billing show one year and a straight looking mk2 astra 4 door arrived.

They then proceeded to spray the car with aerosols matt black to get the rat look .

I am not personally a rat look fan unless it has been done to pre 1950s machinery , especially the ford pops and so forth.
