Are there really only six 1992 Griffs left?

Just stumbled across this rather fascinating website but find the stats almost unbelieveable. As the owner of a 1992 registered pre-cat Griff am I no an owner of a car so rare it's in the last six left on British roads??

I doubt that is correct. Maybe some cars were registered with a slightly different 'title'.

[Just Trouble]

Not sure how reliable the info is but as an owner of a 1992 pre-cat Griff the car is great. Not as fast as a 500 or as desirable as a 4.3 but the sound that it makes always puts a smile on my face and often that of other car drivers and joe public.

The site is talking absolute ste..... there are 11 different 92 cars in the classified section alone, let alone those not up for sale.

It maybe something to do with how the cars registered on the V5 that is flagging up inaccurate details, or the site is just using a random number generator... get lots of hits and then selling add space (cynical me)

The answer lies here http://howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/tvr_missing these are all tvr cars that have the model missing from there V5 I know my last Griff was registered as a TVR only no indication of Griffith on the V5.
So hard really to determine how many of a perticular model are left

This type of error is going to screw the figures up.

This might have been something to do with TVR pre registering chassis to avoid cats.

My log book simply says TVR and Sports under model. Think there are a few relatively low volume manufacturers that this will apply to! I wonder how many precats are left on the road though.

How are you getting figures for an individual model year? The link above only shows "all" Griffith models either taxed or SORN'd.
