popped along to Combe for the Dick Mayo Sprint (Bristol MC) on Saturday, here's a few of my pics.

Random question though, what are the black, vertical blade type objects bolted or stuck to the front of all the cars?

Timing struts. At sprints and hillclimbs the time is recorded by breaking a beam at the start and finish. The strut ensures that the same point on the car breaks the beam at boh ends of the course.
