2012 Classic - Private camping or Hotel...??

Le Mans virgin here: First visit so looking for info on what's best, from the reports on here of the main event I think the Classic would be a better proposition.

Having had a spinal op last year I'm wary of camping, but the whole sitting round drinking and gassing appeals - so the thought of a hotel could mean missing out on the whole atmosphere.

Finally, private camping: if I do go under canvas I'd prefer those sort of facilities, marquee, bar etc. so who is best? I've found Speedchills and Travel destinations.

P.S. any SAS folk willing to discuss over a beer in 'the Lounge'.....??

As I always take my navigator (female) I always stay at a local Chateau

We have the top room (oak beamed) in the top of a large round tower (verry romantic)
Good food as well, more romance



I'm told the raceing is good too

my navigator is a bloke - so if there's any mention of a romance I think I'll clobber him!
