Is that a silver E-Type and possibly a MkII I can see there in the background too?

Yes, we were on tour with 40 Jaguars and stayed at the same hotel at Lac Majeure.

There is also the Renault Laguna Coupe which is preety rare over on UK shores.

..or Lago Maggiore. I've stayed at that hotel, lovely view from the other side!
