window motors ?

hi all does anyone know what the window motors are off of

Dont know what its off, but can get you a part number tomorrow when back in work.

Have you fitted and tried the new runners yet.

I have a motor you could try but cant see that both would be failing at same time.

very lazy going up need to be pulled up by hand

I'd suggest cleaning up the connectors first - a bit of oxidation on the contacts will mean reduced voltage driving the window motors. Mine were definitely quicker post a trip to Carl.

Mine were like this at one point. Try unplugging the windows control box in the boot above the fuel tank and give the connectors a good blow and clean.
It's just one of many possible remedies. It worked with mine you may be lucky.

thanks mark i will try that one ,i thought the black box in the door was some thing to do with it

Do they share a common earth?

Got a multimeter? I'd be checking they've got a full 12v, and the resistance in the wiring.
