We are considering adding a Tamora to our fleet.

Does anyone know the car?

It has has the wheels refurbed, bodywork and interior is apparently immaculate. It also has Bilstein shocks fitted.

It has had quite a few owners and the price seems a bit steep too.

Not really - it's cheap as chips!

And the mileage is stupidly low. Did none of the previous owners use it?

I think this looks a cracking car if the pictures are a true representation of its condition. It would be worth every penny if it was :-) I have been wondering why it hasn't moved over the last few months.

There are a few around cheaper and a few with recent rebuilds but you know you get what you pay for with these babies

Saw this recently

The colour is good, not quite immaculate which is why my search continues

Tis a nice car and will serve someone well though, certainly worth a look

I agree, bear in mind the price reflects a car with a full rebuild by Power as well. Lovely colour and looks good from the pics.

There seem to be several later plate Tamoras for less, with engine rebuilds more recent than this. TBH the fact it has had a rebuild a while ago and probably several owners ago (its had five), isn't worth much in my eyes. Only new rebuilds get a decent time / milage warranty.

It must be quite an unusual car as, according to the advert, it is front wheel drive!confused

Not wishing to speak on behalf of my hubby wink, I think he might be referring to this one on PH, perhaps he's seen others elsewhere:

As for the advert saying it's front wheel drive, I'll be bringing that up with the garage!!

It seems most TVR owners are natural sceptics when looking for a car. A nice interior can mean it leaks and it's been re-done, good paintwork can mean it's had a respray after an accident, a slightly aged interior means it hasn't been cared for - perhaps we're never satisfied!!

It also appears to have two engines.
The first is 3.6 and the second 4000cc !

Leo,

Lovely as your two Tamoras are, they are still outside of our budget I'm afraid!

Good luck with selling them though. If they are anything like the condition of the orange Sag (I am good friends with Sharon, the previous owner & know how well that was cared for) then I'm sure they are in great shape.
