Indicator removal

As the heading said, How do you remove them, are the just stuck in with mastic,,
Dont want to break the fibre glass,,,
Removing the amber & sticking in clear ones...Cheers men

Looking at a photo with my headlight pod out, it looks like the LR fitting is screwed directly onto the back of the fibreglass recess the indicator is in, so the plastic lens must be just sealed in.

hi goldie, not long done this, mask up body work around the lense, (just in case) flat blade screw driver and gentley lever up at each end until it just pops out, one side will come out easier, i needed to cut the silicon off with a scalpul before it came out but most are just pushed in the hole, patience is the key, so your buggered really

Side repeater or front?
Front are sealed with mastic to the fibreglass. Be really careful when removing. Best to screw off the back (the bulb holder) then cut very gently around the outside with a long knife (model knife is good but they a f'ing lethal). They come out from the front and not the back as I thought so once you've cut aound the edge you may be able to gently tap from the engine bay side and hope it pops out.
Side ones should just pop out using some gentle persuasion. They are held in at either end of the longest part of the oval, or should be. If you have problems with them staying on place reverse them as they may fit better.

Take care.. mine pulled of a bit of the fibreglass on one side... didn't mater as it was off for a re-spray.. but would have been a problem otherwise!!
