I've just spent 3.5k with Mole Valley and 4 weeks later I've got blue smoke out of the exhausts.
They've asked me to bring it back Wednesday and suspect it is a turbo seal and not something nastier.
However, I clock up some serious mileage in mine and never seem to get a 'spotted'. In fact last Tuesday I went to Leicester and back in a day, M25, M1. Home bound, M40, M25. A bit of fun with a 911 turbo and a few Scoobies but..... no spot.
You know what's going to happen this Wednesday though.... the world and his wife are gonna spot me trashing the atmosphere all the way from Sevenoaks to Dorking aren't they! paperbag

Steve, very regular and always for me (6+ times) has been a seal on the turbo. Once on the 2nd 2,5 rebuild it was more serious but that was more like Harry potter than 'just' blue smoke. I'm sure Warren will sort you out quickly.

Thanks for that, Chris did say it's highly probable and that Warren could do it while I wait. Fingers crossed, I was having nasty piston ring thoughts!

Very unlikely - the front turbo is especially prone to it due to not getting much air around it (the tunnel mod I suspect helps here).
