A guy at work told me that a pawnshop near where he lives has a blue full-size auto SMP in good condition and with all paperwork for £650.

Sounds awfully cheap to me, I thought mid size and quartz were down at this price but not the 43mm auto?

I had a look on ebay and most seem to be aropund the £800-1000 mark.

I might go up (it's 40 miles away) and have a look, anything in particular I should look out for?

How much is an Omega service likely to be?

Heres the 'official' pricelist for a service: http://www.omegawatches.com/customer-service/watch...

I'm sure someone like Steve Burrage from Ryte Time could do the same for much less. http://www.rytetimewatchrepairs.co.uk/

Thats cheap indeed for a full size auto. Check the serial on the lug and that it matches the serial in the warranty cards.

Cheap that.

Full size Autos on TZ have been up for around £850 I think, but of course that's from an individual not a business.

There were a couple of full size Quartz bonds for sale on the classifieds here for £650 and they sold quite rapidly.

If it all checks out I'd snap it up to be honest.

Well, my mate who told me about it pulled the trigger at the weekend.

Very nice it is too. All original papers and cards, inner and outer box, spare links.

It was priced at £750 but he got £100 off by waving cash in front of the guys nose apparently.

Git.
