only a suggestion but rather than going for purely a handsfree kit you may want to consider putting in a new head unit instead.

Parrot bluetooth handsfree and a decent stereo c/w ipod and usb inputs

Worked out only slightly more expensive than going for a handsfree kit but was a great improvement over the dated stereo that was in my subaru
