I have been working as an Integration Team Engineer for a Medical Device company Hospira Worldwide traveling to various hospitals around the US. As a Hospira engineer my job description included building Windows 2003 servers, installing SQL 2005 and creating databases for the Hospira’s Mednet 5.4 server application also installed MEDNET MEDS software on the hospitals pharmacy workstations. I would also configure infuser pumps for use on wireless and hard wire networks. Working with the pharmacist I would help create and transfer drug libraries to them. I would also setup training classes for Biomed, Pharmacy and Nursing staff in all aspects of Mednet server software which included reporting, configuration, service and maintenance. At present I'm working for a company which manufactures industrial grade security IP based video camera systems. I hold a position as a Field Support Engineer running projects onsite traveling to companies nationwide with some International travel. I have been trying to get another job in Medical Device field since I was laid-off from Hospira. I have been in the Field Service profession for over 15 years I’m self motivated can work independently, I have a professional approach when working with clients and coworkers and most importantly in my opinion I’ am honest and hardworking and my working philosophy is never leave a project until it is completed to the customers satisfaction.
