Help finding a part for a Mazda 6 Estate

Hi,

I am trying to find a boot release mechanism for my Mazda 6 estate. It's the plastic mechanism inside the boot that releases the catch when the external handle is pulled up.

I have someone (who works for Nissan) trying to get it for me but he seems to think it's on back order and will take ages to get. Is there anyone on here who maybe has one or knows whether they can get one "soon"?

You might think this is a bit 'out there', but have you tried your local Mazda dealer?

No, but seriously, of course I have. They're quoting the same lead time as my friend via Nissan (unsurprisingly as he's ordering it from Mazda).
